The Insiders

The Insiders is a bimonthly magazine for exchange students of ISN at the HvA and UvA. The articles are written by international and Dutch students and contain usefull and interesting information about Amsterdam, such as typically Dutch customs. For example: queens day or Sinterklaas, or reports of activities, The insiders provides also many tips and tricks for the ignorant student in Amsterdam. (Aren’t we all?) The magazine is published in English and because it’s a magazine brought by students for students it isn’t just about Holland. Foreign students can share their experiences trough for instance an interview.

In short: The Insiders is a nice informal, interesting magazine you have to read if you want to be (aware) of the sophisticated international student nowadays.

Would you like to get involved in producing a magnificent new Insiders?

At the beginning and end of each semester ISN will distribute an issue for all internationals who are living and studying in Amsterdam. This magazine is about YOUR shameful, hilarious, interesting and crazy experiences as an international student in the Dutch capital, so share them with us by writing a piece! Every input is welcome!

In the Insiders, not only articles will give way to your eternal fame, but your best pictures will be published also, as well as a collection of funny quotes. Start making collages of pictures and drawings of sheep; create a recipe for a cocktail of clogs, cheese and Van Gogh- paintings; write about your frustrations with the  Dutch; or grab the opportunity to inform your fellow students one last time on the real must-dos and must-sees before leaving Amsterdam. Nothing is impossible when it comes to the Insiders!
